Professional Construction Management is a project delivery system that applies modern management techniques to project planning, design and construction to control time and cost and to ensure that quality is delivered to the project owner. We can join the team through either a negotiated contract or a bid process. This process is most effective when employed at the onset of the project, so that we can begin working with the architect and engineers from the beginning of the design. Gurkin Construction can then prepare independent cost estimates and review the design while it is ongoing. Collaboration with the designers prior to bid reduces the changes in the design that can be most costly. The team approach used in construction management eliminates the pitfalls inherit with traditional techniques and methods. :: DESIGN-BUILD

This approach is perhaps the most cost effective method to building your project start to finish. In this approach Gurkin Construction will act as the single representative on the project and will accept responsibility for both design and construction of a project. Using the design-build method an owner is able to obtain knowledge from the architect, engineer and construction team members at the earliest stages of the project.
